  This STUNNING  location is literally known as the “ Maldives of Central America ” and TRUST ME , it will NOT disappoint.  You can see this beautiful location on our tiktok:  Bacalar Lagoon . This 30+ mile stretch of beautiful clear water is called Bacalar Lagoon , but its second name is “ Laguna de los Siete Colores ” which means lagoon of seven colors. This name is super fitting because as you travel down the waters of the lagoon, you will literally find seven different hues of blue . It is truly remarkable! The soft, white sand bottom is made of white limestone which purifies the water and keeps it as clean as a pool. The freshwater lake is safe for swimming and diving!
