5 Senses Gift Guide for your Loved One

This is the PERFECT gift idea for your loved one! Whether it is a special occasion, Christmas, or a birthday (or just because ;) ), your loved one will feel SO SPECIAL receiving this thoughtful gift from you!

It would honestly work from a guy to a girl as well, but I put this together for Kenny! 💘

Here is everything I gave Kenny for our 2-Year Anniversary as well as extra ideas for each category:

1. SIGHT: For sight, I got us this Christian couples' journal to complete together. It consists of a year's worth of prompts to allow you to grow closer as a couple and in your faith! This is the link for this $10 gift item !! Along with this theme, I got us new matching NIV notetaking Bibles. I was honestly a little nervous about these because they were so cheap (UNDER $20 Bible for HER), but they are so beautiful and great quality. Kenny said this was his favorite part of the whole gift!! (Under $25 Bible for HIM)

SIGHT IDEAS with links:

- Streaming subscription (HULU, ESPN, Netflix)

- Sunglasses

- Charging Station

- Picture Frame

- Digital Picture Frame

2. SOUND: For sound, I made Kenny a personalized playlist on Apple Music. The best part about this is it is FREE, but will make such an impact! I simply took a screenshot of the playlist cover and description and printed it out and wrapped the photo in a box. I also got us a Private Ballroom Dance Lesson in NYC! We have been wanting to do this together for a while now so I figured a private lesson in NYC?! Why Not?! You can find very reasonable classes on Groupon with great reviews! We will be doing a 45 minute session which is perfect for our first time.

3. Taste: For taste, I went to Kenny's favorite spot for a snack, The Nut Factory. This place has super cute and affordable gift box options. I picked a medium sized one for $20.

- Cocktail kit

- Barbeque kit

- His favorite food!!

4. Smell: For smell, I got Kenny his favorite Burt's Bees chapstick (Coconut & Pear Burt's Bees). I also got massage body oil (Mango & Shea Burt's Bees Body Oil). Then, I made freshly baked Chocolate Chip Cookies and put them in a little bag. The recipe for the cookies is at the bottom of this blog post! The last idea I had for smell is tickets to our local drive-in movie theater so that we could have a date with all of the smells of the movies. I printed out the tickets and put them on a bag of popcorn.

5. Touch: For touch, I got Kenny some things he has been wanting. This category is the easiest in my opinion, but these two items worked perfectly. I got him new outdoor pickleballs (any sports' item would work well though!). He also has been wanting a new Bengal's blanket because his was so old. That is his favorite football team, but any Sport's team blanket would work too! This item was from Target and here is the link to the blanket I got him! Below, there is a similar product from Amazon linked.
