7 MUST-VISIT Rooftop Bars in NYC

 

We LOVE trying different rooftop bars or lounges in New York City! There are hidden ones everywhere you walk! 

Here are a few of our experiences and a little review of each!

 

1. Daintree Lounge: MOST UNIQUE! This AUSTRALIAN bar has gorgeous, wide-open views of the Empire State Building and so much more to offer! It is super aesthetically pleasing and
perfect for a photo-op. They have amazing cocktails like the “Aussie Spritz”, and eclectic foods to try! While we were there, we tried KANGAROO for the first time. They have the BEST hummus ever. OH and also… $1 oyster deals on weekdays! The happy hour deals here are so worth it! Make sure you check out this spot!


  

      2. St. Cloud: BEST COCKTAILS! This classy bar has the most beautiful cocktails. The presentation is so much fun to witness and the cocktails have insane flavors. Check out the video below of our favorite drink: Miss Pavlova. By the way, this bar has great views of Times Square too!


3. Haven Rooftop: BEST FOOD! Please please go have dinner at this spot!! It is so relaxing and beautifully decorated. The food was some of the freshest and tastiest we have had! Try their salmon dish… it won’t disappoint!













    4. Unlisted: PRETTIEST VIEW OF CITY LIGHTS! This rooftop has plenty of space outdoors with comfortable seating and views of the pretty night lights in NYC. Come here to hang out with friends and vibe to great music. Their cocktails are delicious as well! 





5. Starchild Rooftop Bar & Lounge: BEST PARTY VIBES! This is a perfect bar to grab drinks and dance the night away. It is mostly indoors which is good for when it is raining, but it
also has a great photo spot outside. Don’t look to eat much here though; They have a very limited menu, and the food is mediocre. We enjoyed the DJ and decor here.





    6. Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge: MOST INSTA-WORTHY! Magic Hour is the spot you need to go for a photo-op. Their decor changes seasonally, and they seriously go ALL out. The bar is amusement park themed, so they even have a moving carousel in the middle that is decorated as well! They even have mini golf up there! There are two separate rooms which allows for more space. The Empire State Building is also in view! This is a fun spot to spend your night!





7. Refinery Rooftop: MOST ROMANTIC! This rooftop is a great place to enjoy a romantic dinner under the dim lights. The industrial décor and fireplace add to the dramatic feel. You will leave here happy that you came! Perfect for date night!!

Here are the BEST spots to take photos on Catalina Island: (Refer to the map above for certain directions.)       1.  Avalon Overlook: We recommend r enting a golf cart and going up the winding road to find the hidden staircase leading to this beautiful spot. It is located between stops C and D on the map. The grass is super green, and there are little yellow wildflowers which enhance your photos! You have a perfect view of the town too!
